bswift is currently seeking an EDI Analyst for a full time position with our headquarters in Chicago, IL

 

Fundamental Components:

  • Monitoring of daily file transmissions.
  • Triage and troubleshoot file issues Serving as a liaison between client service teams and developers to translate business and technical specifications.
  • Documenting specifications clearly and concisely so files can be submitted for development.
  • Complete and thorough testing of EDI files.
  • Carrier discrepancy report resolution.
  • Working with clients and client team to finalize account structure.
  • Provide training and support for clients on EDI files as necessary.

Background/Experience Desired:

  • 0-3 years of data interpretation and analysis experience.
  • Extensive experience with databases as well interpretation and manipulation of related data.
  • Healthcare background.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of all types of managed care products including HMO, PPO, and Medicare Part D
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

Education:
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
