West Monroe Partners is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing Operations Excellence Practice! Business Analysis Consultants work in a variety of projects including: requirements gathering, process optimization, ERP/technology selections and implementations and training development across many different industries. You will work directly with clients to identify business needs and solve problems by using broad IT and business knowledge. You could be expected to participate in multi-disciplinary work teams to successfully execute complex implementation projects.

Your specific responsibilities may include:

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs

  • Gathering and writing business requirements for business processes and/or technology systems

  • Creating, validating, and measuring key performance indicators

  • Developing analytic frameworks and defining data and technology opportunities with clients

  • Developing new modeling capabilities and data analysis techniques for clients

  • Creating and presenting business cases

  • Identifying business trends using data, compiling reports, and monitoring results

  • Helping to implement a comprehensive project management plan across a program

 

Experience in the following areas is preferred but not required:

  • Data analysis and modeling

  • Process optimization and process modeling

  • Business rules analysis

  • Organization modeling

  • Decision analysis and costs benefit analysis

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a business analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Track record of outstanding academic performance in one of following preferred majors:

    • Business Analysis 

    • Business or Information Technology

    • Information Systems/Mathematics

    • Business-related degrees

    • Other relevant majors
