GRC Analyst
About this Role
We are looking for a motivated, innovative individual who thinks big and moves fast with a passion for excellence. In this role, you will support compliance initiatives by engaging various process owners in the design, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of the appropriate IT controls in our environments and demonstrating those controls to external auditors.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate business policies, procedures, and processes with respect to compliance obligations
- Assess internal IT controls and develop processes to improve monitoring and remediation efforts
- Compile and maintain work papers and supporting documentation of tests and findings timely
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve accreditation of various compliance frameworks and maintain that compliance
- Work closely with external auditors to provide relevant and timely evidence requests
- Capture and analyze information to identify key risks and corresponding controls
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management
- Assist with SSAE 18 SOC 1, SOC 2, and other external audits
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or relevant quantitative field
- Recent experience in IT audit and compliance standards such as SOC 1, SOC 2, SOx, ISO 27001, etc.
- 2+ years of experience in the IT Audit or Governance, Risk, Compliance fields
- Proven knowledge and understanding of IT technology and methodologies, including agile development, cloud security, and risk management
- Ability to understand complex technical environments
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing internal controls
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Recognized professional certification(s) (CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA, CFE) preferred
- Experience working for a public accounting firm is a plus
- Experience working with public cloud infrastructure is a plus
