Image Quality Control Specialist
Primary Function:
Role is responsible for verifying and remediating Image to Data accuracy prior to images going live on the website, ensuring updates are properly routed to product information, along with being the main gatekeeper for the JIRA maintenance workflow.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review images prior to publishing to the site to ensure image to data accuracy as well as adherence to publishing guidelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate the involvement of appropriate departments to ensure inaccurate images and product information are remedied.
- Identify and clearly communicate trends in errors to improve workflows and reduce future errors.
- Research various outlets to confirm data to image accuracy when information conflicts. Identify and assign the resolution to appropriate teams.
- Manage the Maintenance request process within the Photo Team. Assign work to appropriate team members and ensure process remains fluid.
- Update and manage QC log and appropriate spreadsheets for performance tracking/KPI’s
- Partner with ES/Engineering to identify Grainger 2.0 requirements for Quality Control
- Creative thinker with the confidence to share ideas with the team
Preferred Education & Experience:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in a related field preferred
- Strong analytical and assessment skills with proven ability to correlate products, data, and relationships
- Strong judgment and decision making skills to identify the source of inaccuracy within product information
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Ability to perform SQL queries to update databases and extract data.
- Expertise in web publishing and related systems
- Able collaborator with leadership, business users, and technical personnel.
- Ability to work in deadline-driven environment and handle multiple conflicting priorities at the same time.
- Good project management skills.
