Summary of Responsibilities: The purpose of this role is to support the fast paced growth of Home Chef’s retail business via its sales and marketing efforts with Kroger and other partners. You will be responsible for developing data sets and analyses to support the retail team in sustaining a rapid and profitable growth trajectory. This is an exciting opportunity to have a major impact on Home Chef’s fastest-growing business line.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Build sales dashboards and custom analysis for retail teams

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on data & reporting needs, with a focus on Retail Strategy and Retail Sales teams

Build dashboards in Looker or other business intelligence tools to track business performance

Develop custom reporting and analysis to support projects conducted by the retail team

Develop reporting and scorecards for Kroger divisions

Create reporting templates to monitor sales performance of Kroger stores

Populate reporting on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) and share findings with internal and external stakeholders

Work with retail sales team to identify and populate additional data requirements for specific initiatives (e.g., sales contest, pitch of a product rollout) for Kroger stakeholders

Manage target setting process for retail sales teams

Conduct analyses to identify profitability levers across price, promotion, and inventory management

Collaborate with retail forecasting team on inventory management strategy 

Develop sales and shrink targets in collaboration with retail forecasting team and retail marketing/sales teams

Qualifications:

• Self starter, who can identify key business initiatives and prioritize the work
• 2+ years of experience in a rigorous fast-paced work environment – consulting, finance, data analytics, manufacturing, CPG
• Professional communication and relationship building skillsSkilled Excel and Google Sheets analytics; coding experience (e.g. Python) or experience with business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Looker) preferred
• Previous experience with fresh/perishable products preferred
