About the role:

Farmer's Fridge is developing a unique distribution model to make fresh food accessible to everyone. We are looking for an efficiency expert to help us analyze, structure, and improve our routes and delivery processes as we grow in the midwest and beyond!

What kind of person are we looking for?

• Efficiency minded, analytical, and passionate about process improvement
• Creative, flexible, and relentlessly inquisitive
• Openly collaborative (big egos need not apply!)
• Willing to work odd hours when needed - we are a 24-7 operation and developing aspects of our distribution system means sometimes working outside the typical 9-5

In a typical week, you will…

• Analyze the financial impact of our route structure/spend
• Continuously plan and optimize our fleet routes and usage in an extremely high growth environment to achieve service goals and cost targets
• Help develop cross-dock and long haul routes
• Develop metrics and reporting to assess the effectiveness of drivers and routes
• Optimize the packing, loading, and Fridge stocking process working with production and technology teams

Minimum requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience relevant to the above;
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or business
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable goals
• Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas and challenges
• Passion for food and the Farmer's Fridge mission to improve people's lives through 24/7 access to fresh food;
• The ability to operate in ambiguous situations and be flexible as the organization changes and grows - we are a new place every quarter!
