Logistics Operations Analyst: Our “No B.S.” cultural value is essential to our omni-channel fulfillment strategy and fundamental in ensuring that all customers’ needs are met regardless of request. The Logistics Operations Analyst will further develop RXBAR’s North American fulfillment network through critical analysis, operational execution, and partnership review. The person will help expand RXBAR’s fulfillment network and improve RXBAR’s modal strategy in North America.

The role is responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of key interactions between the RXBAR Supply Chain team, all internal business units, and critical external partners including those across borders. Our ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of current multi-modal capacity procurement, 3PL rate negotiation, and transportation management best practices.

General Functions + Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the broader North American business by acting as a functional logistics leader with all external fulfillment partners and customers of RXBAR’s organization
  • Drive greater collaboration with internal and external business partners through critical thinking, effective communication, and thorough conflict resolution
  • Ensure all customer routing guidelines and requirements are satisfied and/or exceeded
    • Create process to ensure timely communication and visibility of shipment status
    • Create and administer fulfillment metrics to objectively measure service levels i.e. OTIF
  • Proactively design and implement sustainable process changes that drive logistical efficiency with all carrier partners, warehousemen, suppliers, and manufacturers
  • Leverage experience and in-depth knowledge to improve the daily ad-hoc capacity sourcing, rate negotiation, and shipment execution strategy for domestic, cross border, and future intra-Canadian shipments
  • Provide historical analysis, forecast market demand trends, and monitor daily spend to provide recommendations that will strengthen overall capacity procurement and execution strategy
  • Escalate and inform leadership of any opportunities, market trends, or threats to our overall transportation strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve all administrative Logistics duties such as freight payment, claims management, and customs paperwork.
  • Recommend and deploy new systems and resources that will improve process and streamline operations. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude, a thirst for knowledge, and an excitement for growing our business
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Operations related field preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Logistics Management for a food or retail shipper
  • Must be results-driven with a passion for entrepreneurship
  • Demonstrated ability to provide statistical analysis, solve complicated problems independently, and present long term strategic plans
  • Desire to excel and grow with the RXBAR organization
  • Experience creating and administering all necessary documents including but not limited to Commercial Invoices, Customs Paperwork, Bills of Lading, Freight Invoices, and Freight Claims
  • Experience in Parcel network design, execution, and optimization highly desirable
  • Experience with WMS, TMS and ERP integration highly desirable
