At Leapfrog Online, our Performance Analytics team is responsible for the development and delivery of analytics in support of our digital clients’ business and marketing needs. In this role, you will utilize multiple digital data sources and analytic techniques to interpret and deliver thoughtful analyses for our Fortune 500 client projects.  

 

An analytical mind, natural curiosity and an interest in data analytics are a must. We are looking for candidates that share our passion for data driven decision making and online marketing, think strategically, and partner well with cross-functional teams and client leadership.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the synthesis of multiple data sources –transaction data, behavioral data, demographics, psychographics, lifestyle segments, vertical-specific characteristics, performance results, response events, etc. – to analyze and address insight questions.
  • Collaborate and maintain close relationship with internal and client stakeholders to understand business and marketing objectives.
  • Partner with Strategy & Insights and Account teams to proactively surface actionable insights that encapsulate the what, the why, and the so what.
  • Work with client data and team members to define, configure and share data, results and insights.
  • Proactively contribute testing hypotheses, external context, streamlining of existing processes and enhancing current analytic methodologies.
  • Assist in the preparation of client and presentation deliverables.
  • Anticipate customer needs and business opportunities through effective tracking and forecasting of customer trends.
  • Conceptual understanding of advanced/predictive analytics practices – propensity modeling, media mix modeling, advanced multi-channel forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in an analytical role in a professional services environment: digital advertising (paid search, display, social), database marketing, or interactive/ technology consulting
  • Strong communication skills, including experience in making complex subject matter accessible to a broader audience, excellent written and oral communication.
  • Experience working with large data sets and using tools to extract & analyze data.
  • Ability to understand and articulate strategic marketing implications of campaign performance results.
  • Experience with reporting, data visualization, and analysis tools:
    • Analysis & Presentation skills: Excel, Power Point.
    • Web Analytics: Google Analytics
    • Business Intelligence tools: Tableau & PowerBI
  • Technical expert in data extraction, manipulation, and visualization tools such as SAS, SPSS, SQL, Excel, Tableau, and/ or PowerBI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
  • Experience with the application of analytic methods in the digital and online channels a plus.
  • Experience in statistical modeling, marketing test design, and audience segmentation.
  • This is a leadership position, so feeling comfortable being front and center to drive results and innovation is essential.
