As a Manager, Software Engineering on the Data Management team, you will beleading a team of data engineers working to improve and scale data mastering capabilities. Your work will broaden and enrich the foundational data assets utilized across GHX products and services.The successful candidate will be anexperienced software engineering and data leader who wants to make an impact in healthcare. In this role you'll be focused on building and improving enterprise-level master data management (MDM).KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a team of data engineers and processes
• Oversee the development and implementation of innovative and creative solutions
• Establish development best practices and procedures; identify and resolve problem areas
• Iteratively improve data mastering, data quality, and data curation

KEY DUTIES

• Leadthe teamwhile also contributingdirectlyto development and architecturedesignof data solutions
• Run an excellent agile development process while interfacing with engineering, product, and operations stakeholders
• Specify and scope product features and define acceptance criteria
• Assess risks and dependencies and identify mitigation strategies
• Manage and coordinate technical dependencies with other teams
• Hire, train, guide, and coach team members

• Experience leading teams of software or data engineers
• Experience with MDM solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with data governance solutions and best practices
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience building and maintaining production systems within the AWS ecosystem

Estimated Salary range for this position: $130,000 - $165,000The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
