Job Description Summary

The Market Operations Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data in an ongoing effort to increase sales productivity and provide visibility throughout the organization. This role will be a strategic partner to internal and external clients in creating and providing meaningful reports which influence business decisions and drive operational efficiencies. The Market Operations Analyst report to the Manager of ASG/PSG Market Operations.

Job Duties

• Recommends and implements innovative reporting methodologies.
• Collects key data points from multiple sources, loads data into Access database, builds data models, writes and runs queries based on requirements provided by the business.
• Analyzes data to identify trends and opportunities for improvements that will influence business decisions.
• Summarizes report results and key findings in a consumable format for senior management.
• Partners with cross functional teams to understand where data resides and compiles all appropriate data points in one view for a comprehensive look at the business.  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, data analytics, data engineering, business intelligence or equivalent job experience
• 3- 5 + years of experience working with relational databases and SQL
• Previous experience with Salesforce CRM and Einstein analytics
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
• Self-driven, independent with problem solving mindset
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, etc.)
• Must possess inherent intellectual curiosity, excellent critical thinking skills, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable in at least one data-oriented programming language, such as Python or R
• Experience in data architecture, data modelling and management, data warehousing, OLAP and ETL processes at scale
