Market Research Analyst, Strategic Partnerships
GoHealth’s Strategic Partnerships team manages all B2B relationships, spanning Account Management, External Distribution, Carrier and Non-Carrier Relations, and Business Development. The Market Research Analyst will own research and analysis delivery of the healthcare industry, translating findings into actionable insights that will enable GoHealth to deepen relationships with strategic partners and pursue new revenue and growth opportunities within in the healthcare vertical. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of structuring and owning a research framework and thought leadership function within GoHealth to keep the company at the forefront of industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Become GoHealth’s resident expert in the healthcare industry, with a focus on the Medicare market, identifying latest trends and understanding primary players within the space
- Create a framework to deliver regular and project-based insights to key stakeholders, outlining research structure, timeline and deliverables
- Collect and analyze primary and secondary source data
- Provide thoughtful analyses of competitors’ and industry leaders’ products and services, market share, financials, and general strategies
- Execute and deliver market research reports and analyses that help drive the strategic direction of GoHealth in the areas of Medicare health plan strategy, Medicare care delivery, Value Based Care, general Medicare market outlook and trends, and much more
- Own the regular communication and presentation of market research reports to relevant stakeholders and executives to inform GoHealth revenue opportunities and strategic roadmap
Skills and Experience:
- BA or BS degree with at least 3-4 years of work experience, preferably with a market research agency or knowledge/thought leadership firm (Medicare or Healthcare knowledge preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of search engines and business research tools
- Understanding of foundational business concepts (e.g., EBITDA, market segmentation, revenue models) and the primary KPIs/levers associated with each
- Strong analytical capabilities, with proven ability to derive meaningful insights that create business value
- Balance of strong attention to detail with ability to see the bigger picture
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
