Our analytics team in Chicago is looking for Marketing Analysts to help support and scale our marketing acquisitions channels for our rapidly growing lending businesses (Balance Credit and Chorus Credit). The Marketing Analyst role will spend a large portion of their time working with our largest customer acquisition channel, direct mail. We are seeking hands-on candidates to help the analytics team move at the speed of business in a startup atmosphere.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate in developing and maintaining pipelines for large credit data sets.
• Manage ETL processes supporting direct mail marketing campaigns.
• Make data-driven recommendations through modeling and selection strategies to improve the efficacy of marketing campaigns.
• Work cross-functionally with product, information technology, legal, and compliance teams to push new initiatives forward.
• Drive strategy and scoping opportunities for scale of current and future financial products.

Basic qualifications:

• SQL proficiency, preferably PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with statistical and / or machine learning models
• <2 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with direct mail and digital marketing
• Experience using R or Python for data wrangling
• Exposure to analytics dashboards such as Looker or Tableau
• Comfortable working with data in a variety of formats
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services products such as S3 and EC2
• Experience with Github, BitBucket, Jira, and Confluence
