Job Description

 The desired candidate will be a vital part of the Global IT team with a proven track record of designing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to address challenges and opportunities within the New Product Introduction domain. The candidate will be responsible for working with business and IT leads, managing the development team in the planning, design, and development of new projects. S/he is expected to understand the cross-business requirements that form a product or solution. Will be expected to participate in scrubs of items that form the product and feature pipeline. The role needs the candidate to mentor and manage developers and cross-functional track IT subject matter experts. A person who is passionate about improving business processes, and helping our business partners envision the future & how we enable it.  

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Work with business partners across all business functional areas (primarily Services) to understand their requirements and develop creative solutions

  • Be responsible for managing project development, in multiple methodologies, from initiation to closure

  • Understand the various business group organizations and objectives to drive valued outcomes

  • Partnering with business leads to understanding the demand, Offers, determining creative solution designs, and driving dialogue on streamlining offers within guard rails. 

  • End to end accountability on development, testing, implementation to meet the committed timelines

  • Determine the objectives of an assignment, and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve measurable business outcomes

  • Collaborate effectively with both business and IT partners across all functions through prioritization cadences to meet commitments. Work through issues and challenges to complete tasks on time and on budget.

  • Translate rapidly transforming business needs into functional requirements, including proposing alternative solutions or options for implementation.

  • Standardize the New Product Introduction onboarding process by setting onboarding standards and guardrails

  • Interact closely with IT product BA’s to manage any changes & ensure standardization and adoption of solutions 

  • Support real-time operational systems through leadership and guidance on resolving complex development and technical issues

  • Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures as measured by goals and business satisfaction.

  • Identify, define and enable managed delivery metrics and reporting

  • Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical at functional and executive levels


Basic Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science and/or related field

  • 10+ years of professional work experience in IT with 3+ years of experience in managing and leading programs and product development
