Job Description Summary

CCC Information Services, Inc. is seeking an Operations Researcher, Data Science to manage the data science backend processes, operations and to bring disruptive data science products to the market.

We have already launched two AI enhanced products in the market and have a continuous pipeline of AI enhanced product suites that are set to hit the market almost every quarter going forward.

As an Operations Researcher, Data Science you will work on exciting AI research projects like photo analytics and manage the workflow to ensure that desired business objectives for CCC are achieved. You’ll join the data engineering team that manages the entire end to end life cycle for data science product development and delivery. The Operations Researcher, Data Science will collaborate with stakeholders to evolve business requirements into research tasks and use cases. You will work with a team of researchers and data science engineers in supporting the most important strategic initiatives of the company.

Job Duties

• Understand the needs of research teams (AI, deep learning) in terms of training and testing data sets
• Manage acquisition, preparation and documentation of data
• Manage and optimize the data collection pipeline including Python web applications, tools, processes and resources.
• Evaluation, Interpretation and performance of AI models based on various statistical metrics including precisions, accuracy, false positives, coverage.
• Understand the needs of research teams (AI, deep learning) in terms of training and testing data sets.
• Recommend areas of improvement for AI models by assessing against different business use cases.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Management Science, or other related field.
• Proficient with Python is a must; NumPy, Flask, OpenCV, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, etc.
• Experience in data and predictive analytics with good understanding of machine leaning and deep learning algorithms
• Experience in building interactive web tools using open source frameworks
• Proficient with R, SQL, No-SQL, Mongo DB are a plus.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google cloud
• Ability to work both independently and with precise direction
• Excellent communication skills collaborate with research and business equally
