We need someone smart enough to manage our Paid Search accounts (AdWords + Bing Ads) and answer our tough questions--like "What’s the best way to deploy my multi-million dollar budget to maximize impact on the company's goals?", "How efficient is our acquisition spend by subject and demographics?”--so we can make important decisions to accelerate our growth. You’ll work alongside our results-oriented team as the point person running our paid search channel.

We are looking for someone with a strong data background who wants to learn how to make their insights actionable through a high-value marketing channel. Experience with tools such as Google Adwords is a plus, but not required for this role.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of paid search and how to manage an account at scale.
  • Own the day-to-day management and execution of our paid search campaigns (Adwords + Bing)
  • Work with the team to build and define the overall paid search strategy
  • Monitoring the performance of our accounts, ensuring we are deploying the multi-million dollar budget efficiently and effectively.
  • Define key metrics and create dashboards and automated reports for stakeholders.
  • Gather, organize and aggregate large sets of data in order to identify meaningful insights and turn those insights into actions.
  • Build and maintain a growth model to be used for forecasting and predictive analysis
  • Improve performance through continual testing of keywords, imagery, ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, etc.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Engineering, CS, Math, Physics, Stats, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a drive towards actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of making recommendations and identifying trends from complex and diverse data sets.
  • High internal motivation and curiosity with ability to initiate and own projects from start to finish.
  • Comfortable executing on a schedule and following rigorous processes.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL. Be prepared for us to test you.
  • Capacity for quickly understanding hard problems and theorizing how they impact the business environment.
  • Ability to remain focused-yet-flexible in a fast-paced internet company environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, web analytics, and attribution analysis.
  • Experience with Adwords is a plus
