The Procurement Excellence Analyst is a key member of the procurement team, assisting in the teams in tactical and strategic direction. The role is primary responsibilities are focused on supporting the non-food procurement /supply chain functions through the management and creation of ordering tools, analysis of weekly ordering performance, and development of initiatives to drive improvement in procurement KPIs. The analyst must be comfortable with being in high demand and handling numerous tasks or initiatives simultaneously. She/he must be able to lead projects with minimal supervision while also playing a support role when needed. We rely on the analyst to be analytical and detail-oriented, yet have a sense of vision and possibilities for this role. The analyst reports directly to the Procurement Excellence Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve Team tools including supply planning tools, incident logging and resolution tracker, KPI scorecard and initiative tracker, supplier scorecards
• Manage non-food team processes including meeting cadence, savings tracking, supplier compliance etc
• Monitor team performance – savings, operational KPIs, error metrics
• Support sourcing decision making through analytics – bid analysis, savings analysis etc
• Support procurement operations through metrics and analysis
• Manage and improve current ordering tools and processes
• Analyze weekly ordering performance and develop initiatives to help drive improvement
• Draw strong conclusions and advise buying teams on how to utilize data to improve ordering performance
• Communicate with various functions including supply chain, culinary, and operations to execute projects

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in operations or consulting (ops leadership development or strategy consulting or big 4 consulting arms)Excellent analytical problem solving
• Excellent communication, both oral and written
• Strong data and numerical orientation
• Spreadsheet mastery including scripting (javascript, google scripts or VBA)
• Strong project management
• Ability to lead analysts to execute tasks
