What You'll Do:

The role of the Sales Research Analyst will be to ensure management's ability to make sound, fact-based decisions. The primary responsibilities of the Sales Research Analyst is enriching, verifying, expanding, and maintaining the data integrity of Customer and Prospect records for use by Sales and Marketing functions. The role entails supporting strategic and tactical initiatives within the Revenue Operations department in order to maximize Sales opportunities and optimize processes.

  • Responsible for populating SFDC with Account and Contact information for potential sales opportunities
  • Validate existing information to ensure data integrity used for Customer and Prospect Database scoring
  • Creating reports based on queries to the database to be used by Sales and executive management
  • Utilizing tools such as Cloudingo and Zoominfo to ensure data cleanliness
  • Assist with various data entry and cleanliness projects
  • Partnering with Sales and Marketing to build lists of potential buyers for targeted campaigns.
  • Monthly reporting cadence for Sales (primarily new bookings)
  • Document department processes and maintaining knowledgebase
  • Become SME's on STATS' Sales processes and methodology
  • Testing new processes and system maintenance adjustments
  • Identify opportunities for system and process improvements

What You'll Need:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree
  • 0-3 years of experience supporting sales, ideally in the software or SaaS (software as a service) industry is preferable
  • Strong Salesforce.com and MS Office skills (high level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point)
  • Sound understanding of sales, finance, and marketing operations processes
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment with confidence
  • Clear understanding of sales pipeline/order management process
  • Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills; ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels and cross functionally and effectively manage differences of opinions
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations and be willing to consistently educate co-workers on how to make themselves more productive with SFDC
  • Strong sense of urgency, including the ability to meet or exceed deadlines and set priorities
  • Must be highly motivated and flexible in order to work effectively in a fast-paced global sales environment
