We are currently looking to hire a Senior BI Developer to join our team.

Each project will be different, but you’ll always be responsible for:

• Working with various functions of the business to map requirements for dashboard design with the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. 
• Collaborating with the database team, business users, and external customer-vendor teams to identify KPIs defined in business requirements. 
• Developing and maintaining the code base for all dashboards. Working with relevant teams to publish the reports and support the teams in an event of discrepancies.
• Compiling ad-hoc data and report requests.

What You Will Definitely Need

• 7+ years of experience designing and developing dashboards, and data visualization using analytical tools like Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling, Entity-Relationship diagrams, dimensions, and facts.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.

What We Would Love to See

• Experience with analytic modeling in a scripting language (Python, R, etc.) is an asset.
• Analytical mindset and business acumen. Self-motivated, individual contributor.
• Great communication skills, data-oriented personality with a problem-solving attitude.
• Working from the Chicago office and occasional visits to customer location.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
•  Cloud platform certification, or any certification related to database or BI Tools.
