POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Business Analyst - Process Engineer provides operations expertise in the preparation, analysis, design, testing and implementation of process improvements using Six Sigma methodology and through collaboration with the Project Management Office to create end to end robotic process automation, intelligence automation or machine learning solutions. The incumbent will facilitate the prioritization of strategic enhancements and business projects, evaluating the impact to each line of business and to the firm jointly as a shared service environment. The incumbent will also work with stakeholders across multiple departments and technology teams to pilot and test resolution plans. The key purpose of this role is to execute on business transformation projects to streamline, automate and standardize business processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with functional business partners, Technology, and Project Management partners to execute the implementation of high impact projects that require robotic automation or machine learning
- Provide a cross-functional perspective; initiate and lead the appropriate level of collaboration
- Develop and maintain project charters which indicate a primary measure of success with a baseline and target value
- Leverage objective, data-driven Six Sigma tools and methods in all process improvement work
- Develop and deploy control plans and monitor reports which help the business sustain the gains from process improvements
- Execute the design of creative process improvements as part of system implementations
- Lead the creation of workflows, process documentation, and training aids
- Solicit ideas and feedback from impacted departments and represent these areas in discussions with internal/external implementation teams
- Evaluate and test the system throughout the implementation phases
- Conduct on-going analysis and monitoring of processes to ensure that desired outcomes are produced
- Assist with change management efforts throughout the firm including
- Creating a strategy to support adoption of the required changes
- Assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders
- Supporting the design, development, and delivery of communication
- Report regularly on progress against established project plans
- Coach others in the practical use of Six Sigma tools and methods
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Master's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or related field
- Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, CBAP, or other transformation related certification a Plus
- 7-10 years of applicable experience
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud and RPA projects, process mining, intelligent automation, RPA, UiPath, Python, R programming
- Demonstrated knowledge of process innovation, design, and digital technology with proven success delivering complex, large scale initiatives
- Demonstrated experience with intelligence process automation, artificial intelligence or machine learning solutions
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate across different cross-functional initiatives, and reach a consensus with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent judgement and independent decision-making ability
- Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Effective communication to multiple levels of management, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tool like Minitab, and process mapping tools such as Visio, Salesforce CRM Analytics, etc.
- Curiosity and investigative mind towards data, analysis and storytelling
- Master level Microsoft Excel skills including use of Pivot Tables, Vlookups, and multivariable cross-referencing
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Ability to design interactive visual interfaces and dashboards (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
- Self- starter with strong motivation and people skills
- Sound problem solving and analytical skills including mining big data
- An affinity for accuracy and efficiency
