We are inspired by people who are passionate, curious and want to innovate.What You'll Do:As a Senior Consultant at CarrierDirect, you will directly impact recommendations and results for CarrierDirect clients, ranging from privately held to Fortune 50 companies. This role will enable you to enhance your consulting skills in business and networking while working with a team of highly skilled professionals. This is a client facing role with direct access to C-suite executives and the full life cycle of consulting from strategy through to execution.Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting services across all areas of strategy, operations, technology and execution projects, including:
    • Future State Visioning, Strategy, and Roadmapping
    • Business Assessments and Benchmarking
    • Business Process Assessment and Redesign
    • Competitor and marketing positioning analysis
    • Organization Transformation and Change Management
    • Operating Model and Organization Design
    • Compensation Assessment and Restructure
    • Training and Development Assessments and Program Development
    • Technology Strategy
  • Lead multiple projects (up to 3), deliver against aggressive deliverables timelines, ensure deliverables are to a high quality, and report on the status of the project(s) to the Director of Consulting
  • Conduct research and analysis activities including competitor research and financial analysis
  • Structure, develop and facilitate client workshops with c-suite executives
  • Working closely with the business development team to support the development of proposals and Statement of Works (SoWs)
  • Contribute to the development of the CarrierDirect consulting practice by participating in firm initiatives including, writing white papers, developing consulting methodologies and developing consulting tools and templates

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 - 7 Years Consulting Experience
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to prioritize high impact activities, resolve issues and keep complicated projects moving forward
  • Ability to simultaneously work independently and within a team culture
  • Advanced MS Office Knowledge - MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word (note: we use Google Suite but the functionality is similar)
  • Basic data analysis skills specifically the ability to conduct RoI analysis, pivot tables, segmentation into quartiles / quintiles, scenario modelling and discounted cash flow analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Proven ability to add value across multiple project delivery teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage technical projects including software development and implementation

Preferred Requirements:

  • Background in Transportation, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills as related to building trusted relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Advanced data analysis skills specifically the ability to conduct regressions, correlation analysis, and other statistical modelling
  • Familiarity with Tableau (or alternative data visualization software) and SQL

Travel Requriement:

  • Up to 50% Travel to (once travel commences again, currently we are not travelling for client work due to COVID - 19)
