Responsibilities

Sr. Data Analyst -  Traceability Services

 

Plays a key role in shaping efficient processes, solutions and compliance for food and paper traceability within the U.S. supply chain.  Leveraging  experience and knowledge of product traceability, this individual will be the subject matter expert for product tracking and tracing across all suppliers and distributors in the network. Core components of this role will include performing weekly review, compliance escalation and engagement with supplier and distributor stakeholders across the supply chain as well as providing insight and thought leadership around traceability process improvement solutions.   This role will work closely with supply chain management, supplier engagement, and other internal and external stakeholders during the end to end process of on-boarding and continual compliance.

 

 This role requires a thorough understanding of traceability processes & requirements, product labelling & scanning, and supply chain distribution.  The ability to leverage data and reporting to assess areas of opportunity and continuous improvement is necessary.  This action-oriented individual will provide thoughtful input on enhancements to existing processes as well as provide key insight with respect to automating the traceability service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess, weekly, monthly, etc. analysis of system compliance scorecards and reports
  • Escalation of compliance issues to stakeholders
  • Engagement with suppliers or distributors to address opportunities for improvement
  • Ad hoc projects regarding traceability processes and solutions
  • Assist Supply Chain Data Management with On-boarding process
  • Solution development for traceability service efficiencies

Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 1-2 Years of direct GS1 work experience in tracking, tracing and compliance within CPG or food service industry
  • 1-2 Years of experience with enterprise data management
  • 3-5 Years of data management, data acquisition, data mapping with a mid-sizecorporation
    • 1-2 Years of process design and documentation
    • 2-3 Years of experience with data querying and analysis
    • Experience with reporting tools
    • Strong documentation skills including Visio and PowerPoint
    • Bachelor’s Degree

    Preferred:

    • Project Management
    • Six Sigma
    • Account management/engagement experience
    • 2-3 Years of Tableau and MS Access
    • SQL and Database tools
    • Meeting/Workshop Facilitation
