Job Duties
Develop large scale data ingestion/ETL pipelines, which cover multiple data sources spread across data center and AWS cloud. Develop and scale out Hadoop based analytics and AWS Big data platform. Design and build infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading of data from a variety of sources using big data technologies such as Spark, Sqoop, and AWS EMR. Build data and analytics tools that will offer deeper insight into the pipeline, allowing for critical discoveries surrounding key performance indicators. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements like automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Define implementation approach for new platforms and functional and technical specification reviews. Work closely with BI users on their requirements for data preparation in the data lake. Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in software development required.
