Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Data Integration is responsible for managing and leading Data Integration team globally supporting Hybrid Data Integration platform for supply chain and logistics services. The individual in this role will lead the Integration team in producing high quality technical designs and deliverables. Will also work with the clients and business stakeholders to develop solution strategies and define application and technical requirements, ensuring the designed solutiona meet business goals.  Additional responsibilities:

  • Create center of excellence Data integration
  • Develop innovative Data integration solution to ingest, transform data of different patterns at different velocity and volume
  • Manage team members and vendors to deliver 24x7-platform technical support, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of critical business data
  • Manage, lead, and coordinate onsite and offshore delivery teams to ensure resources are effectively utilized
  • Estimate and budget data transformation projects and ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Work with multiple vendor/partners to deliver existing services against Key Performance Indicators
    • Manage performance against contractual terms 
    • Identify new/rationalize existing services
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the platform, including:
    • availability, performance, capacity, currency, scalability, resiliency, security, compliance and licensing
  • Operate high-performance, highly scalable and flexible, cost-effective data integration platform solutions that meet business requirements and conform to architectural designs and technology strategies
  • Run an agile-based request management work-flow focused on maximizing velocity, improving quality and reducing backlog
  • Partner with business and solution architects to identify opportunities for improved customer service, increased agility and availability
  • Develop and guide direct reports by providing career path conversations and mentoring
  • Ensure service operations, knowledge management, continuous improvement, service level and availability management are operationalized across the team
  • Collaborate with business users to identify business needs and requirements and develop design to transform business requirements into data solutions and ensure best practices, policies and procedures are utilized
  • Review and approve solution design, data mapping, design and functional specifications, data flow diagrams, transformation rules to ensure high quality of deliverables
  • Create and lead Center of Excellence for hybrid DI platforms
  • Create standards, best practice documents/mappings, on-boarding templates to enable data integration using Boomi, Informatica technologies
  • Facilitate implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures for ensuring the security, integrity and accessibility of data
  • Ensure compliance with design guidelines for consistent, standardized, integrated, and high quality data
  • Define project scope, provide sizing and estimates for development and production support projects

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 10+ years successfully leading an enterprise data integration team
  • Strong technical or architecture experience in Cloud-to-cloud or Cloud-to-On Premise integrations technologies (IPaaS- Dell Boomi) with preference for MS Azure
  • Knowledge and experience in Integration technologies like Informatica, SSIS,Dell Boomi, ADF, Azure batch services Data Replication tools (Attunity,), Kafka
  • Proficiency in common data integration patterns and processes including: ETL/ELT, APIs, Messaging Bus, Pub-Sub, flat files
  • Embraces innovation by constantly seeking new or contrary ideas and approaches to what has been done in the past. Thinks big and broad, without being constrained by existing norms or business models
  • Self-starter who can effectively navigate a complex organizational structure and manage teams through influence and direct line management
  • Metrics and data-driven
  • Drives continuous improvement in teams, services and processes
  • Ability to build high performance teams
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse global culture
  • Excellent organizational, governance, and functional technical acumen
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
  • Proven experience building scalable data integration solutions to handle large volumes across disparate data sources and targets
  • Ability to work well in a matrix environment
  • Experience in master data management and data governance is preferred
