What is a Senior Policy Forms Manager at Clearcover?

We are seeking a Senior Policy Forms Manager to help advance Clearcover’s growth and profit objectives. In this role, you will be accountable for implementing for your assigned region, and policy form directives from product leadership. You will collaborate with product and technology teams to develop, implement, and monitor insurance products, strategies, and systems that balance and optimize growth, regulatory compliance, profitability, and operating costs.

What will you do as a Senior Policy Forms Manager?

This role is a key member of the insurance product team, reporting directly to the AVP, Insurance Policy Forms. This role will:

• Be accountable for implementing for your assigned region, product directives from product leadership by: 
• Revising and creating policy forms;
• Submitting new and revised policy forms to state insurance departments;
• Obtaining regulatory approval; and
• Providing detailed specifications to our product engineers. 
• For your assigned region, be responsible for determining when coverage forms, policy related, and other legal customer-facing forms need to be created, amended or withdrawn due to new regulatory requirements, rating plan revisions and other business needs. 
• Work closely with internal legal counsel and compliance analysts to ensure legal compliance.
• Monitor compliance issues for your assigned region and frequently collaborate with internal legal functions on critical audits/exams; with a significant influence on the outcome of the audit / exam resolutions.

What will you bring as a Senior Policy Forms Manager?

• 4+ years progressively more responsible work experience in insurance product management or a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience with drafting property and casualty policy forms is required.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a deep intellectual curiosity and an ability to make data-based decisions.
• Experience with online insurance compliance resources such as Wolters Kluwer preferred.
• Experience with SERFF strongly preferred.
• Personal lines experience strongly preferred.
• A passion for learning and improvement
