What you’ll do:
- Communicate real time trade information from CBOE’s SPX pit to Optiver’s in house trading floor
- Report on Optiver Floor Trader’s decisions and execution
- Analyze and assign importance to floor information cue in order to best enhance Optiver’s trading decisions
- Act as facilitator and intermediary between in house Trading Team and exchange based Floor Traders
- Coordinate information flow amongst Optiver’s Floor Trading Team
- Maintain and update S&P Trading Team’s visualizations and graphics enhancements.
- Build skills and trading acumen as a Floor Trader Trainee
- Track trading strategies and report on profit and loss results
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A high aptitude with mathematics
- A working knowledge of financial instruments, trading exchanges and markets
- Solid skills with Windows based software (Excel)
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Lightning quick decision making abilities
- Knowledge of Python and scripting is a plus
