The Impact You Will Make

We are looking for a Senior Analyst who will support the high-performance Marketing Strategy and Analytics team. They will be responsible for leveraging our growth marketing data to rigorously measure performance of our marketing programs. This will include: analyzing A/B tests, performing lift analyses based on DiD or Geo-Experiment frameworks, analyzing multi-touch attribution and channel interactions at the local level, creating new measurement frameworks for new tests, and most importantly working with channel owners to provide strategic insights and recommendations.  This role will be based in Chicago and will consist of: 

  • Strategic Analyses (40%): Tackling strategic questions by performing analyses and providing strategic insights.
    • Examples: Enterprise campaign lift analysis, diner churn analysis, new diner quality analyses etc.
  • Marketing Performance Analytics (30%): Analyze channel interactions (multi-touch attribution) and other key KPIs (awareness etc.) to develop strategic insights for marketing investment mix at the local geographic level.
    • Examples: We ran local tv and free delivery in one market and only free delivery in another. What was the impact on the market and on all the other channels?
  • Marketing Measurement (20%): Partnering with stakeholders (e.g., brand, channel managers, pricing) to design impactful experiments using existing (and building new) measurement frameworks.
    • Examples: Radio, OOH, Local TV, Brand Events etc.
  • Communication & Collaboration (10%): Work closely with the Brand & Marketing senior leads, Finance team and other key stakeholders to communicate and share results.

Some Challenges You’ll Tackle:

  • Analyzing complex and ambiguous datasets to produce actionable insights
  • Defending surprising or unpopular results against challenges from skeptical stakeholders 
  • Fielding requests from multiple stakeholders

What You Bring to the Table

  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field
  • Proficient in Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Office, Google suite
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytical learnings into strategic insights
  • Ability to work with different people at all levels and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Ability to set a clear goal and milestones, and then execute it
  • Eagerness to learn digital marketing and/or e-commerce
