What will your day look like?

You will be responsible for collaborating with business teams and data owners to successfully implement and maintain enterprise level business analytics and data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate must be able to support our business partners with their reporting needs, via dashboards, Business Object reports, mobile reporting, and self-service analytics requirements. Work involves moderate to complex difficulty in working on multiple high-level projects concurrently. Candidate must have a medium to expert level at designing, implementing, and operating our Business Intelligence toolkit. Additional requirements include experience in the financial industry and understanding requirements management process, and report testing and validation process.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in collaborating with end user to transform business requirements into BI and Reporting requirements
  • Strong working knowledge across the technology stack using SAP Business Intelligence tool (Version 4.1 and above) such as WebI, Designer, Data Explorer, Dashboards, Lumira and Crystal reports
  • Experience in data analysis and design using SAP tools such as Lumira, Data Explorer, Crystal Reports for Self-service reporting
  • Exposure to ETL tools such as Informatica and DB environment on MS SQL 2012/14 will be a great plus
  • At least 8-10 year of experience in design, develop and testing of BI Reports in Data warehouse environment is must
  • Experience in working with Global development teams in Agile development is required
  • Ability to communicate complex IT requirements with all levels of audiences (Marketing, Ops, Finance, Developers, QA and Senior Management)
  • Experience in SDLC process such as change management, Bug and issue Tracking, Report Test Management to resolve application issues or to implement development enhancements would be a plus
  • Prior experience in Estimating – Reporting requirements and Leading Data analysis efforts across reporting requirements would be a big plus
  • Strong working knowledge across the technology stack including ETL, data analysis, metadata, data quality, audit and design
  • Technologies currently used and supported are: SQL Server Database, Business Objects, Crystal, Informatica PowerCenter, and Informatica Metadata Manager
  • Design and develop or modify ETL processes that load data for the data warehouse users or for web applications using ETL tools
  • Provide assistance with ETL design, development, and performance tuning
  • Design and architect ETL solutions as part of a cross-functional team
  • Will be responsible to Coordinate and lead onsite and offshore delivery/Support team of 3-5 FTE on report development and BI Support
  • Will be responsible to support Enterprise BI and Self-service initiatives
  • Responsible for identifying/enhancing/implementing industry best practices in BI and Analytics space
  • Responsible to ensure Application Service levels across all BI application

Qualifications

What makes you a great fit?

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, minimum of 5 years of BI analytics experience in a Data Warehouse environment, and you have:

  • Experience with administration and development in SAP Business Objects and Crystal Reports
  • Experience with administration and development in Tableau
  • Experience in working in Agile development teams (via Scrum methodology)
  • Experience in SDLC process such as change management, Bug and issue Tracking, Report Test Management to resolve data issues or to implement development enhancements
  • Project Management experience with Scheduling, Resource Loading, Planning and reporting on large project/program & Technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation required
  • Prior experience working in Financial Service industry a plus

  • Platforms: MS Windows
  • Database Management Systems: Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016
  • Data integration: Informatica PowerCenter ETL, Informatica Data Transformation Tool, and HortonWorks
  • BI Reporting: SAP Business Objects & Tableau
  • Job Scheduling: SMA Solutions OpCon
  • File Movement: GO Anywhere Managed File Transfer
  • Experience working with SharePoint
  • Azure/AWS Cloud experience a plus
  • Agile Development – Scrum Training
  • MS-Office/Visio
  • Experience working with SharePoint Data & OLAP environment
  • SQL, Strong SQL/T-SQL, MS PowerShell scripting

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Languages: SQL, Strong SQL/T-SQL, MS shell scripting,
  • Good understanding of SharePoint 2012 environment
  • SAP BI 4.0 reporting tools, ER win R9.0

  • Ability and willingness to develop creative solutions to business problems and work well within a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have good communication and collaboration skills

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
