Why This Role Is Valuable
The Senior Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for serving as a gatekeeper for the designated organization’s data, helping stakeholders understand data, and to use data to make strategic business decisions. This position can be based out of Revantage’s headquarters in Chicago or New York, Dallas or Miami.
How You Add Value
- Mine data from primary and secondary sources, organize data in a format that can be easily read by human or machine.
- Interpret data sets, identifying trends, patterns that could be valuable for diagnostics and predictive analytics efforts.
- Become subject-matter expert on Real Estate data domains.
- Understand data transformation and rules mapping.
- Model curated data into normative and dimensional models.
- Demonstrate the significance of the work in the context of enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Ability to communicate trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data to management and SLT.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers and other organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, system modifications and develop policies for data governance.
- Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of data analysis process and replicate the analysis if necessary.
What You Bring To The Role
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics
- Experience conducting requirements and process analyses
- Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of Azure pipeline and Snowflake are highly welcomed
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and spreadsheet tools
- Experience in Agile / Lean methodology
- Knowledgeable on data management and governance practices and principles
- Intellectual curiosity and integrity
