Home Chef is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Analyst for its Non Food Supply Chain team at its corporate headquarters in Chicago, IL.

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst would report to the Manager – Strategic Sourcing and Analytic

Key Responsibilities

Conduct end-to-end sourcing process, including but not limited to:
Requirements collection
Stakeholder management
RFP/RFQ execution
Bids analysis & award scenario
Negotiation
Contract management
Supplier Relationship Management
On-going category management
Utilize sourcing levers and hypothesis-driven approach to size and validate opportunities. Drive implementations to realize savings across supply chain
Lead benchmarking exercise to ensure pricing competitiveness and conduct category research to drive innovation or service satisfactions
Develop and own the tools & templates for non-food procurement. Populate and manage supplier performance QBR/KPI, category workbook, and savings tracker...etc.
Perform ad-hoc analysis based on project needs, present findings and drive progress
Develop KPI toolkit and own Non-Food KPIs circulated to corporate, plants and suppliers

Requirements

A passion for Operations/Procurement and Home Chef’s company vision
An all-star positive attitude to be a team player and also wear multiple hats
Not afraid to challenge status quo or propose new ways of working
An organized way of working with the ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
Strong communications skills to manage internal skate-holders and external vendors
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize various sources of inputs to drive data insights
Willingness to travel to suppliers ( appx. 10-20%)

Iyer is a senior manager of new product development, but she also plays an active role in Home Chef’s cross-functional group, HC Connect. The group organizes social events that promote a sense of belonging across the company and also collaborates with the many affinity groups at Home Chef. Recently, Iyer attended a Mardi Gras trivia night where she learned about Creole culture and Spanish law.

I try to attend as many events as possible. I want to support my peers, but I also walk away with more than I expected, whether it’s a piece of trivia or understanding someone’s perspective in a new light.
