You will be part of our strategy team, helping our product group develop solutions to do their jobs better, faster, and more intelligently. Day to day involves working with our team as well as teams throughout Home Chef, spending time diving into data, extracting insights, and then shaping those insights to support the product group's goals. You'll also have the opportunity to build custom tools, solutions, and dashboards to improve the organization and support data-driven decision making.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance, development and execution of architectures, policies, practices, and procedures in order to manage the information lifecycle needs of an organization in an effective manner
• Examines the organization's data with the purpose of drawing conclusions about that information. Activities include analyzing and interpreting collected data; spotting trends; writing reports and recommendations for internal or external clients; data modeling and creating data architectures; developing and enhancing the data warehouse; back-end transaction/data processing; and market research professional services
• Continuously improve the accuracy of data through testing and implementing new methodologies
• Develop more comprehensive KPIs to track department or functional performance and areas for improvement
• Generate and communicate performance on a frequent (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) basis
• Provide data-driven support on other projects in operations and product as needed 
• Work with Product department stakeholders on analyzing challenges, developing solutions, piloting, and implementing hand-in-hand with stakeholders to ensure user friendly solutions

• 1+ years of experience working with data in a data-driven role is preferred
• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet tools such as Excel, Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail, able to be a self-starter
• SQL, Python experience is a plus
• Looker experience is a plus
