Position Overview:

We are currently looking for an eager partner to join our Supply Chain and Operations team in supporting the daily operations of our warehousing/fulfillment center. Our home office is located in Chicago, IL and our primary fulfillment center is in Nashville, TN. This role will primarily be responsible for supporting daily and weekly operations related to our product warehouse and storage, inbound/outbound logistics, pick and pack operation, and overall fulfillment. This position will also closely assist the Operations leadership team in evaluating the fulfillment center processes, help to improve overall operational efficiencies, and support various aspects of the supply chain.

What you will do:

  • Evaluate warehouse and fulfillment center operations, identify and implement initiatives related to operations improvements
  • Serve as an operation liaison between the warehousing/ fulfillment center and Catch Co.
  • Work closely with inbound logistics partners and develop internal auditing and dashboards for evaluating shipping performance
  • Communicate shipment requirements to vendors prior to delivery, and manage overall vendor communications related to product deliveries
  • Manage and optimize on hand inventory by creating root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, and identifying opportunities for improving inventory levels
  • Maintain, manage, and create new dashboards and metrics related to fulfillment and vendor performance
  • Manage promotional and sample product orders
  • Support various strategic initiatives related to capital investments, procurement and sourcing processes, and operational improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

  • 0-3 years of experience in operations, warehousing, logistics, procurement or manufacturing
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Degree in analytical field, primarily engineering or supply chain preferred
  • Interest/experience in fishing preferred
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of working days

Location

Our HQ and engineering lab are located in Chicago's trendy West Loop neighborhood, but our culture is now remote-first. With the exception of our industrial designers, we have a fully distributed team across the United States!
