Summary

The Business Analyst will work under the direct supervision of the Project Executive or Subject Matter Expert to understand business requirements and work with other SMEs to develop and document  IT managed services solutions. This individual will also assist with ensuring that deliverables meet client standards and expectations. The successful candidate may work on multiple projects simultaneously and be a team player.  

Responsibilities

  • Assist with identifying project requirements through customer interviews, JAD sessions, and review of project artifacts
  • Ability to assess, document, and communicate current and future practices
  • Participate in business function analysis and process mapping
  • Develop new process documentation
  • Develop and/or update user and system maintenance documentation
  • Create and present reports or presentations as requested by the Project Executive

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Business Analyst experience specifically within the documentation, and reviewing processes and procedures
  • General consulting experience – assisting with running workshops; defining requirements and mapping processes
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts
  • Familiarity with IT Operations including Help Desk, Desktop Support, and Data Center is nice to have
  • Possess oral and written communication skills to assist with presentations to management
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project)
