As the Principal Consultant you will be involved in presenting to customers and masterfully articulating our capabilities to current and future partners. The Principal Consultant champions Productive Edge’s delivery success, overseeing our most strategic relationships and projects. The ideal consultant empowers clients to make key delivery decisions and work closely with technical resources and Product/Project teams to ensure best in class client experience and delivery success.

Responsibilities: 

• Present recommendations to and establish deep relationships with clients. Act as the single point of contact for client executives on engagements
• Understanding drivers of technology change and building business cases to undertake technology change
• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders, including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, client on-site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and data analysis for technology change
• Identify gaps in customer maturity and capabilities in relation to their technology strategy
• Identify areas of opportunity, and recommend future state improvements
• Work with Project/Product Managers to plan the delivery of data and other technical projects
• Accountable for the successful outcome of data and related engagements from both a delivery (schedule, deliverables etc.) and commercial (revenue realisation, budget etc.) perspective.
• Collaborate directly with the sales team to formulate and execute sales strategies to drive adoption of technologies and help build offerings
• Lead the professional services elements of relevant data proposals and RFP responses, including scope, effort, pricing, and SOW development.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years experience leading engagements from design to implementation of custom technical solutions leveraging the latest technologies
• 3+ years experience with technology strategy formulation, architectural blueprinting, business case development and effort estimation of disruptor based analytics
• 3+ years working in the cloud or complex data environments is valuable but not required.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into an easy-to-understand non-technical language in order to facilitate, communicate and interact with executives and business stakeholders
• Experience with Agile development methods in data-oriented and highly customized technical projects/environments.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity by making the appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
• Have strong people management skills: leading teams, training, onboarding, offboarding, etc.
• Knowledge of software configuration management environments and tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, TFS, Shell, powershell, Bitbucket
