Wealth Management - Analyst - Analytics and Reporting - Chicago

Executes the Wealth Management business unit's analytics and reporting strategy by working closely with business and technology partners across the Wealth Management business unit and other organizational units in Northern Trust to instill excellence in data driven decision making.

  • Participate in the intake and prioritization of analytic and reporting requests.
  • Provide subject matter leadership in data modeling, statistical analysis, predictive and prescriptive analytics, analytic model development and management, mining, visualization, and other quantitative analysis techniques.
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives and the impact on people, processes, technology, and budget, and design solutions for those demands.
  • Collaborate with partners across the Wealth Management business to ensure we are managing business expectations while balancing quality, risk, and cost.
  • Data monetization - harvest benefits from large volumes of data: Create data-as-a-service and/or other personalized products and services offering(s) to differentiate Northern Trust Wealth Management from our competition and to enable us to meet our clients' (and partners') unique needs.
  • Use analytics to help accountable business partners act with a data driven mindset.
  • Use analytics to identify actionable insights across organizational functions and impact digital transformation efforts by delivering real results.
  • Minimize the time spent on looking for answers and lead the effort of spending more time on acting on actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years' experience in the analytics and reporting domain.
  • Working experience in analytics and reporting.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and quantitative abilities.
  • Demonstrated results from data analytics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
