About the Creative Director position at Showpad
The Creative Director is responsible for leading a team of designers to develop Showpad's visual brand identity, driving, evolving, and maintaining design standards. This is someone who is passionate about every aspect of visual communication whether via web, digital, print, video, etc.
This person will be an outgoing self-motivated graphic designer, who has a creative eye with great attention to detail. They will hold the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have an uncommon passion for doing great work. The Creative Director will collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to communicate complex subjects visually, making them easy to understand. The ideal candidate would specialize in digital and web design while having a good understanding of video editing and print design. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director, Brand & Creative.

Key Responsibilities for a Creative Director at Showpad
- Collaborate with the marketing team as the primary designer for our marketing website and marketing/brand campaigns
- Create clean, simple designs for materials such as emails, landing pages, digital ads, presentations, sales collateral, etc
- Direct the visual brand of Showpad in multiple media including print, video, website, and other digital assets
- Ensure a consistent brand across the company
- Coach and mentor a team of designers
- Collaborate with senior leadership and others to communicate complex subjects visually, making them easy to understand
- Keep current with design trends and best practices; exploring and implementing new technologies and tools to advance Showpad's brand and communications
- Stay open and flexible to jump in where help is needed
- Take initiative on strategic issues including design direction and providing quality management
- Manage priorities to ensure maximum efficiency while not compromising on quality
- Leverage a thorough understanding of the digital design and print process
- Manage relationships with internal staff and external vendors
Required Skills for a Creative Director at Showpad
- 5-7 years of experience
- Strong design aesthetic with attention to typography, color, imagery, and graphics
- Previous coaching and mentoring experience of designers or other creatives
- Working knowledge of Adobe products in a Mac environment
- Familiarity with CMS systems (i.e. Wordpress)
- The attitude of a constant learner, with an eagerness to dig into details
