The Designer is responsible for supporting the creative team with various projects including: creating versions of multiple digital ads, creating versions of existing creative executions, taking print pieces to final production, designing emails, designing print and digital retail materials, executing campaign creative, and more. This role is an integral part of the Home Chef marketing team and is mainly responsible for supporting creation of e-commerce assets. In addition to e-commerce, this role will also help support our retail creative as well as internal creative.
Creative Development:
- Generate distinctive, engaging and compelling creative that is on strategy, brand, time and budget
- Thorough knowledge of the creative process, including practical implementation, in order to effectively gauge workloads and deadline expectations
- Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience
- Work across marketing tools (e.g. promotions, campaigns, brand communications) and channels (e.g. email, social media platforms, Home Chef website, etc.)
- Develops dynamic brand creative that spans integrated promotions/programs, online and website elements with the objective of meeting goals
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product and Menu team on content creation
- Present creative approach and work product to cross-functional teams at Home Chef (Paid Media, Email Marketing, Retail, Brand)
Communication:
- Team player who can work both individually to develop creative and collaborate closely with various functions to advance the creative product
- Excellent communication/presentation skills that can translate concepts into effective messaging
- Ability to work independently, problem solve and multi-task
- Interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse internal and external contacts
- Execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skills

- 3+ years of experience in creative marketing or related field, preferably within e-commerce
- Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field (please describe): Design, Creative Arts
- Skills in project management and multi-tasking in fast-paced environment
- Independent self-starter, willing to work hands-on to ensure the best results
- Graphic design experience with Adobe products (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere) and Sketch
- Portfolio of work demonstrating understanding of brand/product/services objectives and strategiesPrior experience developing video ads for Facebook is a plus
