Pearachute is the largest provider of family-friendly activities in the world, and we exist to help families spend more meaningful time together.   Our small team is expanding and we're bringing on a third member to our development team.  We're looking for either a Designer with a passion for UX and/or a front end developer who loves bringing beautiful designs to life.  If you're a unicorn and want to apply, that would be amazing.  But if you find that you are purely a designer OR you border on full stack but have more front end experience, please apply!  We'll be hiring more product/engineering talent, and there are plenty of exciting projects to go around! 

More about the role:

We are about to launch nationally and have partnered with several existing platforms (Eventbrite, Groupon, Ticketmaster) to create the first and largest activity aggregator in the world.  Think of it as an Amazon for family entertainment, we're building a true platform with multiple revenue streams, and three tiers of stakeholders.  In this role, you'll get to experiment and develop a variety of experiences.  From the customer facing social network meets activity calendar, to the Airbnb-style partner on-boarding platform and analytics tools, to building an influencer dashboard and payment distribution portal, there are so many exciting ways to learn and create value.

Front End Requirements:

• HTML/CSS/Javascript.
• Experience with a front-end Javascript framework (e.g. React, Ember.js, vue.js, etc).
• Enthusiasm for learning and applying new languages and frameworks.
• Self-motivated, comfortable working in a small startup environment where some team members are remote. 

Experience with any of the below is a plus:

• Degree in Computer Science, Design, or equivalent experience 
• React or Ember.js Javascript frameworks
•  Mobile app development using React-Native
•  Ruby on Rails
•  SQL
•  Continuous integration / continuous deployment
•  AWS
•  UI/UX design
