Job Title: Digital Designer

Reports to: Associate Digital Art Director / Digital Art Director

Department: Digital

Level: Mid

About the role:

The Digital Designer is a graduate with 2 to 4 years of professional experience, ideally in pharma, passionate about all things digital, keen to continue to develop and hone their skills within an experienced and dedicated team. You will work closely with Senior staff on a wide range of ambitious and innovative projects spanning everything from advertising banners and emails to websites and web applications. You will be responsible for helping to shape and drive the digital direction of projects to deliver world-class solutions.

About You

Minimum Experience

  • 2 - 4 years agency experience
  • Some pharma agency experience preferable

Minimum Education

  • Digital or Design-based Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Your Application

Required skillset

  • Strong portfolio showcasing applied Digital & Design thinking
  • Able to demonstrate a passion for Digital technology and interactive media
  • A determination to learn, achieve and progress
  • A strong team-player, comfortable taking on direction
  • Strong understanding of Digital Design, Layout, and Typographic principles
  • Good understanding of core Digital toolset (Sketch, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Good understanding of UX and Accessibility principles
  • Good understanding of the limitations and possibilities of development, technology, and platforms
  • Demonstrate self-confidence and ability in oral and written presentations
  • Excellent time management / organisational skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail & consistency
  • Ability to embrace new skills in new areas
  • Highly self motivated / professional / personable

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and create digital content based on direction from Senior Digital staff
  • Conceptualise and create digital wireframes, prototypes and layouts for internal & external projects
  • Present Digital solutions in internal meetings as required
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously whilst adhering to tight deadlines
  • Apply and contribute to 'Digital Design excellence' and 'Digital Best Practice' in all work
  • Be responsible and accountable for improving understanding in core toolset (Sketch, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Stay abreast of industry updates & trends
  • Perform required admin duties (Netsuite, Cezanne, Teamwork, Teams)
  • Perform other duties as required
