Position: Director of E-Commerce

Tiege Hanley is a three-year-old company that sells men’s skin care boxes and has experienced significant growth in the last year. Our mission is to help men look and feel amazing. We achieve our goal by providing the highest quality skin care products on the market, with a simplified packing system at an  affordable price.

Tiege Hanley’s Technology Team is charged with maximizing the customer experience at Tiege.com, increasing web conversion rates, and implementing user-friendly engagement points within our brand to increase retention.

The Director of E-Commerce works in collaboration with marketing, guiding their team to provide the maximum level of technical support for all acquisition campaigns, conversion optimization, and retention campaigns. They are aware of and strive to implement best in class E-Commerce technology and platforms.

The Director of E-Commerce must be a technical and analytical problem solver, with a passion for using technology to improve our consumer's experiences and build brand engagement.

 

Must have’s

  • Proven record of maximizing conversion rates for a direct to consumer website
  • Technically competent (full stack), handling small to large scale E-Commerce projects
  • Ability to quickly formulate a strategic approach and implement best in class E-Commerce solutions
  • Proven track record of maximizing the user experience in all appropriate technology platforms

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and drive the overall E-Commerce and digital strategy, partnering with relevant internal and external stakeholders, to enhance the online customer experience, while maximizing the usability, performance, and ROI of our website
  • Responsible for all E-Commerce functionality including navigation, site conversion, promotions, and merchandising features
  • Build the guiding vision and lead the E-Commerce business with customer insights, clear strategies, and articulated tactics
  • Develop and manage a testing program to continually improve conversion rates and the customer experience
  • Ensure that our website is safe, operational 24/7 365 days, all E-Commerce activities protect the customer information, and that Tiege is GDPI compliant
  • Leverage experience and knowledge of industry best practices and supporting technologies, to develop an exceptional digital, mobile and E-Commerce experience for our customer
  • Utilize business analytics and data to find actionable solutions to customer and business issues
  • Manage the prioritization of product enhancements
  • Build and lead the day to day technology team (UX and Dev) with urgency to deliver on marketing lead E-Commerce strategies
  • Perform “Industrial Data Intelligence” across a wide range of digital platforms (website, GA, landing pages, marketing campaigns, customer database, etc.), in close collaboration with other members of the marketing team, reporting on important trends and actionable improvements
  • Direct involvement in customer acquisition projects
  • Collect web data and statistics, then make recommendations to improve the website
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

  • Advanced verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively formulate, present and advance business strategy to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong leadership skills- experience building and managing a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, C/S, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of Web/Digital/E-Commerce experience preferred
  • Direct to Consumer E-Commerce experience, consumer products or personal care a plus
  • Detailed knowledge of digital strategy and planning
  • Prior experience in the design and implementation of business process improvement is strongly preferred
