Freelance Print Production Manager
At closerlook, inc., the Print Production Manager will work with printers to oversee the printing process of various print materials. They are responsible for ensuring that print products are of the highest quality.
Responsibilities
- Gather project requirements and manage all print production aspects, working with vendors on delivery timetables and maintaining on updated status of assigned projects
- Execute projects within contract-specified timelines, according to budget requirements and quality standards
- Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery within budget.
- Manage project quoting and procurement of print materials
- Provide high-quality customer service, communicating to clients with appropriate and relevant status updates
- Escalate production issues immediately to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience in print production management
- Experience working in an agency environment
- Experience independently managing multiple complex projects
- Skilled in project management, planning, analysis, and problem solving
- Experience negotiating job costs and schedules with suppliers and vendors
- Able to work with little supervision while still being part of a team
- Demonstrated aptitude in learning new technology for application in a professional environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Ability to adapt across a wide range of business scenarios, including fast-paced environments
