The Role:
The newly created position of Graphic Designer will work to create and manage the visual identity of TopstepTrader's and TopstepFX’s products and marketing materials. The Graphic Designer will conceptualize, design, and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate the company's brand identity, positioning, and messaging through all touchpoints. This strategic, conceptual thinker will have a wide range of design capabilities and experiences, with a solid background in visual communications, digital, video, branding, and typography.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment and embracing continuous innovation and optimization. S/he will have a keen attention to detail and the ability to take ideas all the way from concept to execution. We're looking for a self-starter who can learn quickly, loves technology, and has proven problem-solving skills.

What you’ll do:
- Be the first Graphic Designer at TopstepTrader. You’ll get to own the design and process behind this role, be creative
- Work closely every day with a tight-knit team of talented and driven peers; our team is pretty awesome
- Be the champion of the brand(s) by managing the visual identity and ensuring brand style guidelines and assets are updated and upheld
- Lead the visual design efforts of digital products and interfaces to meet business objectives in accordance with a seamless user experience
- Conceptualize, design, and execute creative marketing solutions based on design principles and project goals
- Create and oversee online design assets (websites, templates, landing pages, etc)
- Stay up-to-date with graphic design best practices and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
- Establish and coordinate art direction for the team
- Work in a highly iterative and collaborative way, directly alongside the marketing team, product managers, ux designer, and developers
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising or related discipline
- 3-5+ years of experience in a branding and/or design role at an agency or as an in-house designer creating both print and digital media
- Must possess a strong design portfolio
- Strong visual design skills and a critical eye for detail
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to speak fluently and clearly explain design decisions to necessary parties
- Expert knowledge of everything Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
- Experience creating responsive designs
- Ability to think creatively and critically, and understand how to balance business objectives with user needs
- UX experience a plus
