DESCRIPTION

RateYourSeats.com is looking for a creative and imaginative graphic designer who possesses a passion for live events. The Graphic Designer is responsible for providing support to the marketing department by developing design solutions with high visible impact. You will work on a variety of projects, including digital advertising, social media, website design, mobile app design, corporate identity and other creative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare images to coincide with social and blog posts
• Develop imagery and videos for campaigns on advertising channels, including Google Ads and Facebook Ads
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that enhance user interactions and experiences
• Develop new – and update existing – digital assets
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Proficiency in basic design programs, including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Photography and video skills a plus
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of the sports and music industries
• Strong preference towards candidates with an understanding of digital marketing and advertising, and towards candidates who demonstrate that understanding through their portfolio or a cover letter
• Preference towards candidates with experience using Adobe XD for web design and Google Web Designer for ads
• Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years of design experience
