Affinitiv is looking for a resourceful, talented and energetic full-time Graphic Designer for our downtown Chicago, IL office. Duties & Responsibilities

• Work independently to plan, manage and track multiple projects simultaneously
• Identify client expectations and ensure all directions are followed
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Design and produce print and digital graphics, including direct mail, display ads and emails
• Ensure graphic solutions are optimized for integration, performance, usability and sustainability
• Consistently apply and enforce style/brand guidelines to ensure projects are correctly executed
• Accountable for quality of work and timeliness of delivery across all creative projects
• Maintain a high standard of customer service experience by using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions

Requirements

• BA in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) – some knowledge of Dreamweaver and After Effects is highly preferred
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and responsive web design techniques
• Experience working with Google Web Designer preferred
• Strong visual communicator with a sharp sense of design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Capable of handling multiple projects with careful attention to detail
• Strong typography, understanding of color, hierarchy and layout reflected in portfolio of work
• Resourceful problem solver
