Principal Interactive Designer

What are we looking for?
As a Principal Interactive Designer, you will lead the user experience and user interface design process on multiple concurrent projects. You’ll rely on your deep knowledge of user experience, visual design principles, and technological feasibility to build innovative mobile app and responsive website features, from information architecture and user flows to high-fidelity visual design and prototyping. Finally, you'll work with developers to make sure your design vision is seen through in the final product, which may be a mobile app, website, or another innovative digital product.
You'll play a leading design role on super innovative, bleeding-edge projects for Fortune-level clients in a variety of industries.
Requirements:
-Creating low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to help demonstrate the user experience of the product to the client.
-Producing meticulous, beautiful user interface designs, taking into account client brand guidelines and specifications.
-Explaining all design decisions to clients.
-Working in tandem with multiple developers to ensure all functionality and design is meeting client expectations.
-Participating in regular design critiques to keep your skills sharp.
-A willingness and passion to never stop learning and adapting to ever-changing design trends and UI principles.
-Demonstrated experience in leading design workshops, present design concepts, and engage with C-level clients at major brands.
Qualifications:
Aside from a love for design and learning all you can about technology, you will present a robust design portfolio that demonstrates the following:
-7–10 years experience in a design-related positions, where you worked on interesting web or mobile digital products.
-B.A. in graphic design, visual communication, or another design-related field.
-An impeccable understanding of typography, layout, color, and all other elements of design.
-A fanatic attention to detail for creating pixel-perfect icons and UI elements.
-Proficient knowledge in the Adobe creative suite, Sketch, InVision, and other rapid prototyping software
-Being authentic and having a good attitude is a must.
-Ability to create clean and professional presentation decks for client review.
-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design techniques is a plus.
-Experience in user interface animation is a plus.
