The team
Our Product Experience team - Design, Information, and Insights - focuses on our customers and their business needs. We contribute from the concept all the way to the building of world-class product experiences by partnering with Product Managers, Program Managers, Software Engineers and other cross-functional teams. Together, we are a team of craftspeople who aim to make the complex look easy. We employ insights, pixels, and words to solve big problems and make delightful experiences.

This position
The Product Designer is responsible for building new products and features used by customers across every demographic, industry and culture. You’ll join our growing design team helping to build a fully digital system of agreement platform for businesses around the world! You’re a passionate designer and strategic thinker who loves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business and customer goals into elegant, innovative solutions.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Product Design.

Responsibilities

  • Champion design thinking, pushing yourself to explore big ideas before narrowing in on feasible, inventive solutions that sweat the small details
  • Partner with product management, engineering, user research and tech writers to define the product direction, own the design execution, and measure ongoing improvements
  • Participate and manage cross-functional design thinking workshops
  • Produce deliverables for every stage of the design process - storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual assets for web and mobile
  • Utilize and contribute new patterns to DocuSign’s design system to maintain scalable design across our product ecosystem
  • Leverage all data points like analytics and research to inform your work but rely on your intuition to fill in the gaps
  • Contribute to a creative, supportive culture for the entire Product Design team

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of designing consumer, enterprise, and mobile user experiences
  • Experience with interaction design, visual design and design thinking, with experience in prototyping and user research.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, and Principle.
