ABOUT THE ROLE

As a production designer, you will apply your creativity and technical skills while implementing design across ShopRunner’s projects ranging from digital products, presentations, emails, banner ads, and various other needs. You will collaborate with the sales team, marketing managers, and others to define, refine and evolve how we communicate with our customers across disciplines to clarify requirements, goals, expectations, and timelines. You will design new work within ShopRunner’s visual language.

 

ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work under the supervision of the Visual Design team.
  • Prepare and deliver image assets for web, email, paid marketing, blog, social, and other digital communication channels.
  • Use device screenshots and software tools (Photoshop, Sketch) to build screen imagery to market ShopRunner’s products.
  • Partner with marketing managers to develop and design new layouts and imagery within established design systems.
  • Present designs both virtually and in person.
  • Juggle a mix of large and small projects, often with overlapping priority and urgency while adapting to changing timelines
  • Build and maintain working files inside a collaborative file structure.
  • Share and document your knowledge and perspective with your peers.
  • Participate in team status meetings and prepare detailed status reports of work assigned to feed into client project updates.
  • Manage work tasks using JIRA, Slack, Google Docs.

 

ABOUT WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Solid working experience building, editing and optimizing pixel and vector graphics (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).
  • 2 to 3 years work experience in a creative role/environment
  • An ability to communicate clearly with peers and across disciplines.
  • B.A. in Graphic Design or Communication Arts certificate or equivalent.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates sound understanding of layout, typography, color, and composition
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • High energy/drive with the ability to accept and incorporate feedback in creating the best design solution
  • Ability to multi-task and take ownership within a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
