ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you love shaping the future of early-stage products? At ShopRunner, we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to represent the customer voice as you work alongside fellow designers, product managers and engineers to research, design, and build the CX across two emerging businesses. The first, Same-Day Delivery, aims to be the best courier delivery solution for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle retailers. The second, Marketplace Services, makes brands available for purchase anywhere consumers are shopping through our unified, transactable catalog technology. 

This role is US based only but we are open to any of our US offices in Chicago, IL, Conshohocken, PA (Philly), and New York City or fully remote in any of these states: CA, DE, IL, IN, FLA, MA, NY, NJ, NC, SC, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA, CT, MD, MI. From time to time, there will be limited travel to our offices as the need arises.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Collaborating with fellow product designers and product managers to conduct discovery research in the form of customer interviews, surveys, and field observation
• Synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data to define customer personas and use cases
• Working with product and engineering managers to strategically prioritize the most important customer needs
• Learning about new industries and research competitive products
• Creating and iterating on wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes of the user experience
• Running usability tests to understand the successes and failures of different design decisions
• Contributing to our design system and producing high-fidelity user interfaces
• Ensuring design quality through the product development process
  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This role is a great opportunity for someone who:

• Is comfortable in the early stages of product development, including working through ambiguity to define new and exciting products and features
• Thrives in a startup environment and loves a role with a lot of autonomy
• Enjoys the design challenges of enterprise software design

The skills and experience that will make you successful are:

• 4+ years of product design experience with digital products
• Experience researching and designing for users in a business environment (B2B)
• Experience working in a collaborative, agile and data-driven environment
• Familiar with Figma and Validately/UserZoomGo (or similar design and usability testing tools)
• BA/BS degree in Design, UX, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction or a related field -- or equivalent experience
