Job Description Summary

As a senior member of our Design Center of Excellence, the person in this role will be responsible for driving our speed-to-learning and cross-functional collaboration, resulting in the delivery of new value for our customers. By combining a sharp mind for business, and the full suite of design thinking methodologies, the Sr. Product Designer - Strategy and Research is adept at working with users and stakeholders at all levels, creating clarity, alignment, and excitement around key strategic initiatives.From strategy and research to prototyping and validation, CCC designers are given the ownership and opportunity that few companies can provide.
Job Duties

• Frame problems and develop hypotheses to be tested
• Plan and lead research, workshops, and discovery initiatives
• Map complex processes through JTBD, service blueprints, user flows, use cases, etc.
• Identify and articulate personas, pain points, insights, and opportunities
• Develop concepts, wireframes, and prototypes, guided by SME and user input
• Provide insight-driven recommendations to help drive product portfolio roadmaps
• Guide and mentor designers and stakeholders in design thinking techniques

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Design Strategist, Researcher, or UX Designer
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias toward action and ability to self-manage
• Demonstrated ability in leading the UX of enterprise platforms
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Consulting or agency experience is preferred
• Insurance or similar industry experience is a bonus
