What you get to do:
In this role you will report to the Sr. Director of Product. Our product team is the intersection of Business, Technology, and Operations. This diverse, visible role, is the central hub to important partners across departments such as Marketing, Analytics, Credit, and Legal/Compliance.
- Be "Customer-Obsessed" to understand our consumers and how our products support our mission of offering socially responsible financial products for the everyday consumer.
- Lead customer research initiatives including weekly customer interviews, quarterly customer focus groups, and mystery shopping.
- Help develop a customer advisory board.
- Be a leader of the User Experience team and build the User Experience team as we continue to grow.
- Explain your design ideas to partners and engineers.
- Design and own all application flows from end to end.
- Build the OppFi design system.
What you will bring to the team:
- Experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role; minimum of 3 years experience in relevant field of study
- Portfolio of design projects
- Proficiency with design software (Adobe, Sketch, Figma)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Engineering/Human Computer Interaction/Psychology/Design)
Reports to: Sr. Director, Product
Job Level: Senior Associate
The minimum salary for this role is $95,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.
The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
