We’re looking for a UI Designer to join our Digital Experience practice. In this position you will collaborate with designers and developers to create amazing user interfaces, using research-based design to create conceptual wireframes and user flows working and traveling to our clients around the US.

Every project will be different, but you’ll always be responsible for:

  • Executing all visual design stages from concept to finished high-fidelity designs and asset creation
  • Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Working with usability specialists and interaction designers to develop and iterate user interface designs based on research and usability test results
  • Showcasing strong communication skills by presenting and defending designs to peers and executive level stakeholders
  • Conducting user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Working with design systems to ensure consistency and familiarity across products
  • Experience collaborating with development teams from concept to implementation to understand the constraints and communicate design specs effectively

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Communication Design, Human Computer Interactions, or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience as a UI designer 
  • Knowledge of design fundamentals (information design, visual design, industry UI standards, and use of best practices) and design principles (typography, layout, grid systems, hierarchy, color, composition.
  • Proficient in Sketch, and experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, XD, prototyping tools (Invision, Proto.Io, Axure, Balsamic, other), virtual white-boarding (Mural, RealTime, etc.)
  • A design portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and problem solving, innovation, and exciting but practical user interaction solutions
  • A passion to learn and stay on top of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Communication skills and empathy to be able to work with the client stakeholders and in a team
  • Design and create the user interface (including all that the UI comprises like images, CSS, HTML, etc) of the application - is a plum
  • Prior experience working with cross-functional teams is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology in product development
